Recognized as the region’s leading water industry event, ASIAWATER 2014 opens doors to its 8th edition from 19 through 21 March at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.
726 global exhibiting companies from 42 countries showcased thousands of new and innovative technology, equipment, and machinery related to sustainable water management, water treatment, and more.
With strong support from government agencies including The Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Malaysian Water Association, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia, Singapore Water Association and more, ASIAWATER 2014’s collocated conference AWARE’14-World Water Day is dedicated to addressing the current issues and future outlooks for water sustainability. There will also be speeches from the spokesperson of Minister of Natural Resources & Environment and the Director General, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia.
This conference is the right and an important platform that will bring together researches, policy makers and practitioners from Malaysia and across the region to share experiences and the progresses made in water resources management research, policies and technologies.
AWARE’14 welcomed global perspective session on Water Security Challenges in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia with government officials speaking on behalf of each country.
